Norfolk status
Nationally Scarce.
Locally fairly well recorded in Norfolk in the last decade along the coast.

Very variable colours ranging from a straw-yellow/white to grey/brown, generally with a sandy tint.

Larva feeds on Sea Sandwort, Early Hair-grass, Common Couch, Sticky Mouse-ear, Sea Spurge and Hound's-tongue.

The most likely confusion species is Sand Dart.

Recorded in 20 (27%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1873.
Last Recorded in 2023.
